boston-where everyone knows your name.

so i checked out boston recently. i am interested in going to grad school at emerson college right in boston. cheers was cool and so was the suburban/city life. im young and i like to be around young people. where i'm from there is mostly old people... the elderly and the really young..like toddlers. it's weird. i am potentially on a hunt for relocation.. so if i go to Boston.. it's mainly because i like emerson.. of course... i went on a weekend so i wasn't able to actually tour the school but i did see the outside and kinda walked in the one door and it looked pretty cool. it's right in the heart of downtown. i took the subway there.. with my Charlie card. i walked up and down the cobblestone strip with a fur hood and my jacket zippered all the way up. yes... it was cold. very cold. i don't really like the cold. i like it when its hot and only cold enough where a zip up hoodie or pull over or a cute spring jacket is neccessary.. as for the whole Boston thing.. i don't really think it's my calling. my boyfriend on the other hand loves it.. of course we didn't go together.. he went with friends i went with friends.. and i knew he'd love it.. i went first. but i mean it's best described as philly.. but cleaner.. with ponds and lakes and pretty trees to look at.. you could walk there at night with no pepper spray. if catch my drift. i like walking and drinking hot starbucks and perhaps taking my dog for a walk.. that's what i've seen a lot of people doing. the traffic could get bad.. as is any city. the area... clean, rich, and boston accents.. i presume heavy.. but i didn't hear any when i was there. unfortunately .. because they are pretty hot. i did love danny from the real world.. and he was indeed from Boston. i like the song.. boston by augustana.. but again, i don't know if its a permanent landing page for me. you know. i need to see more.
