eating out- chain or non-chain style.

yum. so i love eating out. it's not even that my mom doesn't make good dinners.. it's just that i love to go out to eat. no i am not this person who is an overeater.. it's like a pastime for me. and where i'm from... PA.. there isn't much more to do but go out to eat on the weekends.. aside from bars and movies. my favorite lunch would have to be the olive garden's $5.99 unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks. I mean you totally can't get a better deal than that. the soup... pasta fagoli (my absolute favorite)salad... eh.. i am not a big salad fan but if i was i'm sure the salad would be great too.. and the breaksticks!.. warm, buttery, melt in your mouth..goodness. yes that is what i am talking about. and then carefully dip the breadstick into your soup! magnificent! OR.. i also like to get a little ethnic and try some cheap chinese food! their lunch specials are cheap and good.. especially the one right around the corner from where i work. my favorite dish? sweet & sour chicken! under $5.. for the chicken, pork fried or white rice (my pick pork fried) and a fortune cookie. good deals i tell you! and for dinner.. see i am a stickler for italian food ... although i am not italian in the least bit.. (maybe it's because i mostly date italians?) .. but i guess you could say.. any mom&pop italian restaurant for dinner is a YES.. not a chain. but on the other hand, i do also love steaks.. filet mingon. yum! and the best chain restaurant for steaks? hands down... Texas Roadhouse. yes i had my fair share of lonestar.. even outback.. but they don't compare to the uber goodness of warm buns.. given to you in hand as you are seated... with cinnamon dipping sauce! never had that before! its unique and very good! pricing is cheap too.. meals under $12! i mean for filets and such is it obviously more pricier.. but not too bad.

what's your favorite dishes by restaurants? do you prefer chain or non-chain to fill your tummy? comments..

I enjoyed reading your blog. Next time you go to the Olive Garden, you should get the Zuppa Toscana soup...it has sausage, potato and spinach in it. It is terrific! Keep up the good work.
