so i like verizon. i do. their services are cool and i like the in-calling feature because most of my friends & boyfriend have it... so minutes taken out there.. but the phone i have SUCKS. first let me start to say that i think all contracts should be a yr.. not 2 yrs.. of even if they are 2 yrs.. make the ability to get the $100 towards a new phone.. after 1 yr. who doesn't agree that phones are pretty destroyed after 1 yr of use? take my KRZR for example. when i got it.. it was nice, shiny, slim and cool. now.. i mean granted it is heavy dutied used.. but it fell on the floor when i was at the bar and someone stepped on it and cracked the front. ok whatever. i was pretty upset but at this point i had it for a while. it still worked! so ok im happy with that. if we have to keep these things for 2 whole years, it should be able to withstand some drama. so then..all of a sudden my battery starts dying after making one call when i charged it all night! now i am away.. and i make a phone call home and my phone is beeping that it is dying..BTW. most annoying beep ever.. these motorola phones! sooo.. i go to verizon when i get back. and they tell me i need to upgrade to a new network.. ok fine. so they do it for free and give me a new battery. now keep in mind i have no insurance on this bad boy. so again, happy with their service. but then!... it happens again! the whole phone dying after one call thing. so i go there again.. and they do the whole upgrade thing.. for free. but at this point it is getting quite annoying. so later on.. i find that.. the middle button that takes u to all the places have fallen off.. ew. ok so i proceed to find that in a few weeks, the backlight on my phone dies. so now i have to open and close the phone multiple times until the light kind of works so i could read the person calling or a text. granted.. a + for this phone is that the text memory is outstanding.. so far i have about 564 incoming texts in my phone. i am trying to see how many more it will hold. but back to the backlight faltering.. sometimes the phone won't ever work.. so i can't see anything on the screen.. and this also happened in a bad place.. on the airplane. so i am flying and of course they say to shut off your phone.. o yes i thought i did but it was actually on!.. the screen just wasn't lit so i couldn't see! ok so this + and - review is pretty much telling you to not buy the krzr. hopefully i could get a new phone and the $100 rebate towards a new on in a 1 yr 6 months which is coming up soon. i heard good things about the voyager.. and the new envy.. so we'll see.
