impulse shopping @ VS semi-annual.

hope you girls stocked up!! twice a year victoria's secret has their infamous (you'll see later why i call it this) semi-annual sale! let's just say it is marked on my calender when it starts. the first day of the semi-annual sale -jan. 2008... i went to three V.S's. (there is 4 in my area.. within a 30 minute hike of my house-opposite directions of course.) this is the time to stock up on all the panties, sweats, shorts, tees, and beauty items you want for cheap!! why spend $9 or more for a pair of panties when you can get them for $3.99 at the semi-annual. tons and tons in baskets to choose from... and bras from $15.99. the bras sold there could range from $30-$70! it's pretty pricey. and signing up for an Angel card just shows that you're smart... you can pay it in the store that day if you want.. because honestly you just want the points... 250 points makes you a VIP angel.. which i currently am. then you get $10 for every $250 you spend. it's a pretty sweet deal. i enjoy getting the pink sweats for like $15 bucks... the embroidered ones are usually like $24.99 but still better than $39.50. it's your time to save. a lot of their makeup is usually 50%.. or 75% off which is pretty sweet if you want to look pretty. also you can get pretty cheap bags to throw stuff in..like your books or your beach towel and bikini.. and speaking of bathing suits.. yes i bought 2 this year! the selection is great.. online mostly.. in the stores it's select and you usually can't find your size on sale considering they sell pieces separately. get a cute bikini for free and VS's bikini's usually hold up pretty well. unfortunately the semi-annual ended for summer 08...but i think you could buy stuff online and in the store there is some panties and sleepwear left for 50% off clearance price!! so stop in.. i did again and again.. but try not to spend too much.. like me. hence "infamous" sale but nevertheless, anxiously awaiting next january's buys.
