still standing...literally.

created in 2002, this sitcom is really funny. during the times of 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., there usually isn't anything on. trust me.. i'm getting home from work and i am scanning the t.v. you might find a "friends" re-run or a "seinfeld" or even "everyone loves raymond." i am not interested. i want something funny.. and something i can throw on when i am sitting on the couch or my bed relaxing, surfing the internet, or cleaning my room. so i stumble upon "lifetime network." and i know it is considered a women's station but i don't think you should stereotype. i found this show..totally unisex.. that is also on a couple other networks.. like the "cw." but it is on "lifetime" at 5-6 and 7-8 eastern time. its about a family.. parents who are really laid back and care mostly about watching sports and drinking beer. Judy, the wife, is very attractive and her husband, Bill, is heavy with a beer gut. He got her pregnant in high school with their oldest son, Brian. Brian is a very smart teen who is quite the nerd. He is involved in theatre and is straight but not good with the ladies. Lauren, their middle child, has bright red hair and an attitude. She gets annoyed with just about everything all of her family members do and just wants to be her own person. Tina, the youngest child, is about 7 yrs old or so. No one really pays attention to Tina. She just shows up here and there to make fun of her older siblings or to make fun of Aunt Linda, who is Judy's sister. Aunt Linda is a single woman who is always looking for a man. She spends most of her time at the Miller's house which confirms she needs a life and the Miller's pick on her for that. One of the most relate able characters is Bill's mother, Nancy. She is the typical ANNOYING mother or mother-in-law that makes you feel bad, not good enough, for apparently no reason at all. Needless to say, it follows the family through funny times. The Miller Family is pretty hysterical and it's a great show to watch when there is nothing on.. so check it out. i'm sure you won't be disappointed.
