sleeping with my blackberry.
as you can tell by now i am a big fan of tv. i like comedies but dramas intrigue me as well. i was never really a "sex & the city" fan.. yet i am still interested in seeing the movie. i saw a few episodes here and there but never really got into it. maybe because the women are older.. i don't know how old they are in the show exactly because like i said i never really got into it but .. in what their thirties? well i'm in my twenties.. and from what i understand, the thirties is something i am afraid to reach. but with that aspect in mind, i guess "sex & the city" helps twenty-some yr olds like me.. look towards a promising future... with men at least.. and if i am still single by that point. anyways, last fall or was it spring.. i started watching "cashmere mafia."... by accident actually. i was watching my usual "desperate housewives" and afterwards was a premiere sneak peak of "cashmere mafia." i contemplated watching.. i had nothing better to do but study.. why do that? so i watched. lucy liu starred as this publisher for a magazine.. had a finance that dumped her because she got the job over him, and the one girl who was obviously attractive and could get any guy she wanted (bonnie sommerville) had a little attraction towards a woman?... miranda otto which she played juliet in the show, was almost like a desperate housewife.. bree. she had the red hair and super clean appearance down pat, she was pretty but in an elegant, superior kind of way and had a very attractive husband.. this couple brought in maddd dough.. but ended up ending their marriage because of a ongoing affair he decided to have. (guess juliet wasn't wild enough for him).. francis oconner who plays zoe in the show, had a cute lil husband and cute lil kids, he was the stay-at-home architect dad and she was the bread winner. she almosts cheats on him.. as he almost cheats on her.. but something stops them ..both. overall, this show was interesting.. perhaps a spin off of "sex & the city" but whatever. i liked it. it was about four, successful women who slept with their blackberries and made sure they always got the job done. hope it comes back for season 2... don't you?
