sports=love? relationship advice #1

for some people, sports are everything. whether they are dedicated to the red sox or the chargers...it's something they are passionate about and you know what? i think it's kinda cool. i mean don't get me wrong, you don't want to get stuck with a jimmy fallon-like boyfriend who sleeps on red sox pillow cases and needs to make every home game or they'll cry. but being passionate about a sport is something that is often frowned upon but should be embraced. my advice is if your boyfriend loves a sport... try and get into it. watching baseball is kind of boring.. especially since there is not much action..except for a home run or grand slam. but learn the players. learn their names and find one you like. make it fun for yourself and pick one that's the cutest..because you probably don't really care how good they are since you weren't a baseball follower in the first place. and root your "cute guy" on. this way you can kind of get interested.. or if your guy really loves one player.. you can even follow that one.. because your guy prob gave you each and every stat you need to know him like he's one of the family. taking part in this sports-obsession will really help you bond. and the other sports like football and basketball have more action so it's even more interesting to follow along. the best part is near the end.. when a 3 pointer can win the game.. or a touchdown is all that is needed (i cheered).. you don't even have to fake being interested because if you watch the whole game you will be as interested in the last shots that you will be on the edge of your seat like he is. lol he'll think it's way cute. and.. probably brag to his friends how awesome you really are.
