have you ever shopped at steve and barry's? i know you definitely have heard of this place... and their $8.98 pricing or whatever... and you probably think its junk. well since steve and barrys came to my area.. i have shopped there. i found it interesting that they sold stuff so cheap.. and at one point i felt as if there stuff was made cheap.. which is why it worked out to be so inexpensive. i bought a ski jacket there in about 2005 and the feathers started poking out.. granted it was $10.. i believe.. since sometimes they flex in prices so you get what you pay for. However, its 2007-2008 line.. ROCKS! Ever since Sarah Jessica Parker created her line "Bitten" it's clothing quality has gotten better. SJP even wore one of her dresses on the red carpet.. which is pretty awesome, considering she is a millionaire wearing an $8.98 dress. i bought one.. it's really nice.. a little past the knee, flowing, with flowers on it, strapless. pair it with a belt and its gorgeous for a nice lunch or brunch.. or baby shower for that matter. or even if you are one of those people who walk through central park with a guy in pressed pants and an umbrella to block the sun. yes its cute for mostly all occasions.. but Steve&Barry's aren't only famous for SJP.. but also for another personal fave of mine.. Amanda Bynes' line "Dear." This line is super cute and aimed towards a younger demographic...however, her shoes are what took me. i love the Jessica Simpson square, patent leather stiletto. yet i am not paying a whole lot of money for them. remember.. trendy. so .. i found shoes .. rounded toe, patent leather stiletto.. $8.98!.. umm how hot it that ? i wore them in vegas.. and they looked great! steve&barry's also have a few other brands like starburry by Stephan Marburry and venus's line.

Steve and Barry's clothes are great! I'm actually wearing a Amanda Bynes "Dear" dress as we speak. I paired it with a cute belt and shoes and you would never know that it costs 8.98! Its also a great place to get shoes, (especially for one time wears) funky jewelery, or t's.
The only gripe I have with Steve and Barry's, is that they don't replenish their clothes enough. I wear a long length and can never find one there. They also seem to have the same clothes for a really long time. Also, keep in mind, you get what you pay for. When your T is only 9 bucks it wont last a year of washing and may shrink.
